Browser Default

Greenville Watch works best when set up as your browser default webpage. When you open your browser, you will get a search bar and access to the latest headlines. To set your browser default homepage, here are instructions for various browsers on both Windows and Apple platforms:

Google Chrome (Windows and Mac):

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner to open the menu.
  3. Select “Settings.”
  4. In the “On startup” section, choose “Open a specific page or set of pages.”
  5. Click on “Add a new page.”
  6. Enter the URL of your website and click “Add.”
  7. Click “Save.”

Mozilla Firefox (Windows and Mac):

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner to open the menu.
  3. Select “Options” (Windows) or “Preferences” (Mac).
  4. In the left sidebar, choose “Home.”
  5. In the “Homepage and new windows” section, select “Custom URL.”
  6. Enter the URL of your website and click “OK.”

Microsoft Edge (Windows):

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner to open the menu.
  3. Select “Settings.”
  4. Scroll down to the “On startup” section.
  5. Choose “Open a specific page or pages.”
  6. Click “Add a new page” and enter the URL of your website.
  7. Click “Add” and then “Save.”

Safari (Mac):

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click on “Safari” in the top menu and select “Preferences.”
  3. In the “General” tab, find the “Homepage” field.
  4. Enter the URL of your website.
  5. Close the Preferences window.

Opera (Windows and Mac):

  1. Open Opera.
  2. Click on the Opera icon in the top-left corner and select “Settings.”
  3. In the left sidebar, choose “Basic.”
  4. In the “On startup” section, select “Open a specific page or set of pages.”
  5. Click on “Set pages” and enter the URL of your website.
  6. Click “OK” and then “Save changes.”
