  • Advertising You can advertise for free on greenvillewatch.com, if you are located in Hunt County, Texas and are a local small business, local non-profit or a local political campaign. Our free advertising is here for local small businesses to have a platform to advertise to promote their website or products. Only small, local businesses located within Hunt County, or the owner lives within Hunt County are allowed to advertise. This includes political advertisements for political candidates running in a local race and include Texas House and Senate races. For Texas House and Senate races, the candidate does not need to live within Hunt County. We also allow local non-profits to advertise.
  • Donations Greenvillewatch.com does not accept donations or payment for ads. We provide this site as a free service to the local community to aggregate news, events, special interest items and meaningful community links. We do not charge to access, use or advertise on greenvillewatch.com.
  • Ad Placement All ads are placed on the front page of the website and are rotated through based on the number of ads and available space. This site is designed to be a launch page that users save as the default page in their browser.
  • Advertisements that aren’t allowed We do not allow non-local businesses, businesses that are not considered small or government entities to advertise. We do this to level the playing field. To help our mom-and-pop businesses be able to advertise and better compete with larger businesses that have large advertising budgets. We allow political advertisements because we want voters to know who is running to make an educated decision before they vote.
  • Reservation of Rights for Advertisement Placement We reserve the right to make a determination for the placement of ads on the website. While we encourage all local small businesses to advertise, each ad will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any ad violating #3 above, will not be allowed. Our determination of what violates #3 will be based on the prevailing understanding of those terms within the local community for what is obscene and objectionable. We will follow up by phone or email, if necessary, to determine if the business is a small local business. Certain franchises will qualify as a local small business, if the business is located within Hunt County, the owner and operator live within the county and the profits stay within Hunt County. These will be determined after careful review of the business. Our intent is to help traditional mom-and-pop businesses. Some franchises are designed as a mom-and-pop businesses and we will work with you for ad placement.
